The Director of our Executive Protection Bureau, Mr. Robert Bonasia is retired from the United States Secret Service. The sharing of his expertise ensures that our protection program maintains the highest level of professionalism and readiness.

We are licensed by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED License #3106) as a private security agency, and as such, we perform a wide variety of Executive Protection operations throughout the year in South Carolina. We also possess a South Carolina Private Investigation license which allows us to accompany our South Carolina based clients into North Carolina for a period up to 30 days. Whether it’s a quick trip to the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport, or to accompany you and your family on an extended vacation to the Atlantic coast or Blue Ridge Mountains.

Our Executive Protection teams are equipped with the latest in emergency medical equipment and always travel with an AED, oxygen and a pulse oximeter among other equipment to treat traumatic injuries. All our team are trained in Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC).

We also travel with the latest in communication equipment to ensure that you’ll always have access to your home or office in an emergency. We are equipped with the Iridium Go Satellite Communications device, we have nationwide two-way radios on the FirstNet network, and several of our team members are certified Amateur Radio Operators (HAM).

Each week our teams of state licensed, armed, plain clothes security officers work throughout the State of South Carolina conducting church security, VIP protection, patrols and security surveys, all related to the ecumenical security mission.

Through a unique partnership with church leadership, KDI establishes state licensed security teams at various churches throughout the state. Extensive background checks, quality training and continuous quality control help to ensure that we are setting the bar for ecumenical security.
